Fuzz

FUZZ! Yeah. So. I have an obsession with bright colored objects, feathers, pretty much anything parrot related. There's a fairly prestigious art show at Ringling called Illest of Ill, in which all illustration majors, sophomores, juniors and seniors submit up to three pieces of their best work, and if they're accepted they're shown off in an art show for two weeks.

I made this piece specifically with Illest of Ill in mind, and it turns out it got accepted, WHOOO! :) So I'll be dressing up all nice and fancy tomorrow night for the show. My excitement knows no bounds.

UPDATE! "Fuzz" was also accepted at TeeFury and will be made into a t-shirt! I don't know when it'll happen, but when it does it will be up for sale for a total of only 24 HOURS for $9.00 before they take it off the sale market. If you also go to Threadless.com, you can vote on my piece for one full week. If it gets enough good scores, it may win and I could get a cash prize, and the shirt will always be up for sale on the website. GO GO GO!

UPDATE. AGAIN. Several hundred "Fuzz" shirts sold on teefury, it got the "Hot like me![Pancakes]" stamp. No luck with it on Threadless though, no biggie though :)

Came here from TeeFury to say:

Sweet Batman, that's brilliant. I love it. Awesome. <3

That is all.

I saw this on TeeFury, and I just had to say that I love it. However, I'd rather have it framed on a wall than on a shirt - is there any site where I can buy an official print of this?

Ditto to Anonymous' comment: I think the art is beautiful with a white background, but I cannot wear white T-shirts. Is there a print version of this?

I love this design, but I wouldn't want it on a shirt. Is there anywhere I can buy this as a print to hang on my wall? Congrats, by the way!

Awesome design, in your bio I noticed the you said you moved between VA and FL and that you were an art student, I was thinking maybe RCAD and sure enough you were. My fiance is a Fine Arts major, junior year, at Ringling. Small world... and congrats on the teefury submission.

Hello.

First, congratulations on the good reception given to this design in tee fury, is well deserved.

I left a comment on your design, do not know if you've read. I was wondering how you've done that in your design is up to 6 colors. Someone else was interested in as well.

Again congratulations and thanks.

Anyway to get the t-shirt still? Love the design.

There's no actual website that sells prints, but I'm capable of making prints and mailing them out if people want them :)

Unless people ordered a surplus of shirts, I don't know any way to get one for the time being.

I don't know how "Fuzz" works under the "only six colors" rule, I didn't actually design this with teefury in mind. I submitted it thinking "what the hell, if it gets in, awesome, if not, no huge loss." I have no idea how this could fit in with just six colors.

how much for a print?

I know you can easily setup a cafepress shop with the t-shirt design and then anyone can order and you can make a little cash.

Prints depend on size. As it is, right now I'm looking for a website that could manage it for me, something similar to CafePress(They only do shirts, and if possible I'd like to have shirts and prints available.)

Anyone know of a site that does posters/prints?
